AHRC CDA studentship
on 'The diplomatic family at home and abroad'
School of History, Queen Mary, University of London with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Applications are invited for the first of two PhD studentships on:
'Representing and
belonging: social and cultural change in the British diplomatic service
since 1945.'
The first studentship is on 'The diplomatic family at home and
abroad' and will start in October 2013. It will be supervised by Dr Helen
McCarthy (School of History, QMUL), Professor Amanda Vickery (School of
History, QMUL) and Professor Patrick Salmon (Foreign and Commonwealth Office).
