· Maintain the membership email members@museumethnographersgroup.org.uk throughout the calendar year
· Maintain new subscription orders throughout the calendar year
· Responsible for the renewing of subscriptions when they commence on 1st April each year (direct debits renew automatically, bank statements and cheques sometimes need chasing)
· Liaise with the Treasurer to ascertain which new subscribers have paid
· Update new members Webcollect records with ‘authorised’ once payment is received
· Update new subscriptions on Webcollect record - payment statuses from ‘order placed’ to ‘payment received’
· Chase new subscribers who have placed an order but not completed payment
· Arrange for JSTOR access for all new subscribers
· Extract current membership data from Webcollect in spreadsheet form
· Send current membership lists to Events Officer, Web Officer, Chair and Publications Distributor for JME distribution
· Manage change of address for members and amending on Webcollect
· Send new passwords to members who can’t access their Webcollect record
· Manage questions from members about the receipt of Journal
· Oversee members attendance at the annual conference, chasing for payment if members attend with no subscription payment
· Email members with any new information about their membership
· Promote MEG membership on social media
